Fresh off the harbor
Harbor Lane Café pours coffee and tea, bakes in the morning and cooks bowls all day, a block from the water.
Our story
Harbor Lane Café started as a bread cart on the pier and moved indoors the winter the fish market closed. The first oven was borrowed, the first menu fit on a napkin, and the first regulars were the people who unloaded the boats.
Today we bake before sunrise, roast our own coffee beans on Wednesdays and keep the menu short enough to cook well. Everything on the plate is made here, from the chive butter to the lemon loaf.
A note from the crew
Come as you are, sit where you like, and tell us what you want more of. The menu changes because you ask.
House rules
Ten small things that keep the room friendly.
- Order at the counter or ahead: the kitchen cooks when your slip is called.
- We are open Tuesday to Sunday. On Mondays the kitchen rests.
- Pickup orders are held for 20 minutes past the time you picked.
- A reserved table is held for 15 minutes, then it goes back to the room.
- Each item is limited to 9 per order.
- Parties of 9 or more: please call the cafe instead of booking online.
- One deal at a time: a combo or happy hour, whichever saves more, never both.
- Happy hour runs from 3:45 to 5:45 pm on open days.
- Dogs are welcome on the patio, not in the kitchen.
- Be kind to the crew; they are pouring as fast as they can.
